In the beginning, this blog is meant to help me focus on some of my goals. One of these goals is to become a minimalist (living more with less stuff) and maybe helping others who choose to join me on this journey.
Life is a journey, and along the way I have tended to collect stuff. I like collecting, organizing, displaying, using stuff to solve problems, even though some of the 'problems' may just be in my head.
While pursuing the journey of organizing, having the best tool for what ever task, creating a home, managing a home, de-cluttering, becoming a minimalist, I have read everything I could get my hands on. Now it is time for doing.
How about you?
Some of the challenges I have faced in this journey include:
1. Not wanting to waste anything.
2. Being an enviromentalist, wanting to dispose of things in the most responcible way possible.
3. Lack of time.
4. Procrastination.
5. Lack of information.
I will explore some of these things latter.
What is important today:
Old Bicycles: June 26th, 2010 Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) is hosting a BikeFest. In Calgary, Alberta it is at Edworthy Park on the north side of the river. Part of this event includes an old bike drop off for charity.
What a great way to clean out the garage and see that the old bike gets used!

For more information or listing for other cities please contact http://www.mec.ca/
Hope that we can both benefit from this journey. All the Best!!
